Chris Randazzo brings a distinguished 23-year track record to the Fund by providing strategic sales and marketing planning, investment analysis, and operational execution. Chris has 15 years of private investment experience in software, distribution, manufacturing and real estate, and has equivalent years of experience in all aspects of the deal life cycle for these investment classes, from deal origination to close to operational execution.
In addition to his role at Main Line Capital Solutions, Chris is the Founder and Managing Member of Main Line Equity Partners (“MLEP”), a private equity firm focused on making controlling buyout investments in small privately held companies in the software, technology, and niche manufacturing industries. In this role, Chris manages investor relations and serves on the investment committee, determining which opportunities MLEP makes strategic investments in.
Previously, Chris served in senior sales and marketing roles for enterprise and vertically focused software and technology companies. Prior to MLEP, Chris completed a leveraged buyout of Phoenix Integration, a software solution for model-based engineering, a software and systems development paradigm that emphasizes the application of visual modeling principles and best practices throughout the system development lifecycle, allowing for engineering simulation, design, and knowledge organization. The company had a compound annual growth rate of 19% over the last 10 years with investors receiving an 8.7x return representing a 123% IRR. Chris was embedded as the COO and VP of Sales & Marketing for over six years during that time helping to drive the significant growth.
Mark has over 24 years of finance experience, including 18 years in private equity and the alternative investment industry. In addition to his role at Main Line Capital Solutions, Mark serves as Managing Director at MLEP. Mark is actively involved in all three of MLEP’s portfolio companies. He serves as the CEO of Matrix Solutions and is the lead advisor to SmarterServices and Cianflone. In his role as CEO at Matrix, Mark has led the company to grow over 50% and helped launch new products and expand into new regions. Mark also serves on the MLEP investment committee, determining which opportunities MLEP makes strategic investments in.
Prior to joining MLEP, Mark built grown grew a boutique investment bank, the largest transaction being the sale of an approximately $60 million mortgage services company to WL Ross. In addition, Mark spent six years as a Partner and Portfolio Manager of Attalus Capital, a fund of hedge funds that grew from $60 million to almost $3 billion of assets under management during Mark’s six-year tenor. Mark ran approximately 80% of the portfolio.
His other experience includes Vice President of the Buyout Business Unit at Hamilton Lane Advisors, allocating approximately $2 billion a year, Associate at the CoreStates Enterprise Capital Group, a $400 million mezzanine fund, and he has received formal credit training. Mark has a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
Rich brings over 15 years of experience in financial analysis, due diligence, and mergers & acquisitions. In addition to his role at Main Line Capital Solutions, Rich serves as a Principal at MLEP. At MLEP Rich works across the entirety of the deal lifecycle from initial origination through due diligence and closing. Post-close, Rich also serves as a business consultant to MLEP’s portfolio companies, where he assists with strategy, operation, and sales support. Rich also serves on the MLEP investment committee, determining which opportunities MLEP makes strategic investments in.
Prior to joining MLEP, Rich worked in Strategy and Corporate Development at Westinghouse where he worked on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures ranging in size from $500,000 thousand through $300 million. Immediately before joining Westinghouse, Rich worked at Ventura Group, a financial advisory firm that provides investment banking and corporate development services to middle market family-owned and privately-held companies and at Charles River Associates, a leading global consulting firm that offers economic, financial, and strategic expertise to clients across all industries.
Rich graduated valedictorian from the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business where he received a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Strategy. He graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems.
John Giordano is a Partner in Archer Law’s Government Affairs practice, as well as a member of Archer Public Affairs. In this capacity, Mr. Giordano provides government and regulatory affairs advice and advocacy representing clients at all levels of government. Prior to joining Archer, Mr. Giordano served as Deputy General Counsel to the Presidential Transition Committee of President Donald J. Trump. During this time, he also served as one of only ten people on the U.S. Department of Energy Landing Team, where he was the sole Landing Team Attorney.
Gregory P. Montanaro serves as Vice President and Executive Director of the Office of the President of Drexel University and holds a dual appointment as Executive Director of Federal Relations in the Office of Government and Community Relations. Mr. Montanaro is also a senior fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, where he previously served as the Executive Director of the Center on Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism, and Homeland Security. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a M.S. in Organizational Dynamics, A member of the Consular Corp. of Philadelphia, Mr. Montanaro represents the Republic of Austria as Honorary Consul.
Christopher Topolewski is a principal of the multi-family office, West Capital Management, whose mission is to help provide financial peace of mind to clients through planning, investment research and customized portfolio construction. During his thirteen-year tenure, West Capital Management has grown by over ten-fold and continues to be a leader in the wealth management industry in the Philadelphia region. In addition to being a principal, Chris serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer.
